Gilgit-Baltistan: Expect heavy rains, particularly in mountainous regions. Travelers should exercise caution.

Heavy rains and widespread flooding engulfed the area in South Punjab, Multan, and its surroundings.

The roads and streets appeared like pools of ponds as the rain continued. The old record of 48 years was broken as the Met Department reported that Chongi No. 9 disposal station received more than double rainfall (177mm) for two successive days according to the Water and Sewerage Authority. The previous record had been 134.5 mm of rain in 1976.

The weather of Karachi:

Rain chances will prevail in many districts of the country, whereas lightly pouring showers in Sindh including Karachi apart from the exception here.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius in Karachi while the maximum temperature is estimated to be around 35C, as per the Meteorological Department.

The humidity stays around 74% as sw-winds descend at ~22 km/h over the metropolitan port city.
